following areas: next generation insider threat detection; semi-autonomous

scholarly journals and present research at academically rigorous,
competitive conferences. They will also mentor students and perform some
minimal lab administration duties.

Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. (or be close to

data analytics, or a related field supportive of the research agenda to
which the researcher will contribute. The ideal candidate will have past publications and experience in the above referenced areas, as well as past
grant writing and funded research experience. Applicants with U.S.
government security clearances are highly encouraged to apply, as are
individuals who have the ability to obtain a high-level security clearance
within the federal government.

Salary is negotiable, based on the qualifications of the applicant.

This position is a one-year position, but may be renewed for up to three
years. The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with IS&CS department
faculty, including Dr. Nicole Beebe and Dr. Raymond Choo. He/she will also
work closely with researchers within the UTSA Institute for Cyber Security
and the UTSA Open Cloud Institute.

This position is open until filled.
