Greetings!

This collaboration between DFRWS and the largest forensic science
meeting in the world (IAFS - International Association of Forensic
Sciences) brings together thousands of scientists and is the first
time digital forensics has been part of this convention.

Don't miss this major event: https://iafs2020.com.au/

Submit abstracts and workshops by January 31, 2020
(RESEARCH PAPERS MUST INITIALLY REGISTER AN ABSTRACT)
Submit research papers by March 9, 2020

The DFRWS digital forensics conference brings together leading
researchers, developers, practitioners, and educators from around the
world to advance the state of the art in digital forensics.
Established in 2001, DFRWS has become the premier digital forensics
conference.

The first DFRWS APAC conference will be held in Sydney in conjunction
with the 22nd Triennial Meeting of the International Association of
Forensic Sciences (IAFS) in conjunction with the 25th Symposium of the
Australian & New Zealand Forensic Science Society (21 - 25 September
2020). This event brings together thousands of researchers and
practitioners in all forensic disciplines, including those in emerging
nations, and will have a major impact on digital forensic science.

The overall theme “Forensic Science 2020 – Where to from here?” aims
to develop strategies and solutions to strengthen digital forensic
science, and forensic science more broadly. This event is a unique
opportunity to share digital forensic knowledge, best practice and
research across the scientific, legal and law enforcement communities.

We invite new, original ideas from people in academia, industry,
government, and law enforcement who are interested in sharing their
results, knowledge, and experience. Authors are encouraged to
demonstrate the applicability of their work to practical issues.

Topics of interest include forensic exploitation of the various forms
of digital/electronic information that may form part of an investigation
(e.g., data from mobile devices, computers, IoT, GPS systems, cloud
systems, etc.), including its collection, analysis and interpretation.
Rationales and approaches for integrating digital forensics with other
forensic disciplines, and applying advanced data analysis methods.
