Call for MoWNet'18 Workshop Proposals (1 February 2018)

The 7th IEEE International Conference on Selected Topics in Mobile &  
Wireless Networking (MoWNet'18) will be held in Tangier, Morocco  
(http://www.mownet.org) from 20 to 22 June 2018. As an important part  
of the MoWNet'18 program, a limited number of workshops will be held  
in conjunction with the main conference. The workshops aim to explore  
special topics and provide international forums for researchers to  
present their early research results and share experiences with focus  
on more specific research areas than the main conference. We solicit  
workshops in all areas and topics related to wireless networking,  
mobile computing, mobile and wireless communications, pervasive  
computing and networking, as well as mobile services and applications.

All accepted papers in MoWNet'18 (i.e., main conference and workshops)  
will be published in the Proceedings  of MoWNet'18 and will be  
submitted for inclusion in the digital library IEEEXplore. The  
Technical sponsorship  of MoWNet'18 is under consideration for  
approval by IEEE Computer Society.

The workshop proposal should contain the following information:

1. The title of the workshop.

2. Biography of the main organizer(s) (100-200 words)

3. A brief description of the workshop (e. g., the goals and its  
relevance to the main conference, etc.).

4. The names of potential program committee members (TPC).

5. Expected number of submissions, like contributors, and target audience.

6. A description of the publicity plan (including an URL address).

7. A draft call for papers (CFP).

To keep the production of the conference proceedings on track, we will  
use the following submission and acceptance deadlines for all accepted  
workshops:

     Workshops paper submission deadline: March 20, 2018
     Workshops paper notifications: April 20, 2018
     Workshop paper camera ready due: May 5, 2018

Workshop organizers should send their workshop proposals to the  
workshop co-chairs at the email addresses given below by 1 February,  
2018. The proposals can be submitted in PDF or plain text.  
Acceptance/rejection notification will be sent to workshop organizers  
by 2 February, 2018.
The MoWNet conference is offering 1 complementary registration for  
workshops with 8 or more accepted papers.
