*Call for Papers*
ACM IH&MMSec was born in 2013 after the two prestigious workshops
IH and ACM MMSec decided to merge in a single event. ACM IH&MMSec
is now one of the premier conferences in the area of multimedia security,
and it attracts researchers from all over the world. The research presented
at this workshop captures the state-of-the-art of research conducted in
academic, industrial, and government institutions around the world. The
papers cover the theoretical aspects of the field as well as the industrial
and commercial applications of techniques and algorithms developed in
this area. Researchers are hereby invited to participate and submit the
results of their cutting edge research for publication at this workshop.

*Topics*
The paper topics include but are not limited to:
- Multimedia watermarking, fingerprinting, and identification
- Multimedia network protection, privacy, and security
- Multimedia authentication and encryption
- Steganography and steganalysis
- Integrity verification of digital content
- Digital forensics
- Biometrics and their applications
- Computer and network security
- Secure multimedia system design and protocol security
- Security evaluation and benchmarks
- Privacy and security of social network
- Security and privacy of the internet of things
- Source identification
- Robust/perceptual hashing for multimedia identification
- Linking of multimedia content and augmented reality
- Digital rights management systems
- Signal processing in encrypted domain
- Data hiding and subliminal channels in multimedia network
- Application of smart cards and ID cards
- Mobile payment systems and their security
- Privacy and security of wearable devices
- Optical document security
- Extracting intelligence from video streams
- Emerging applications of content identification
- Privacy, policy and legal issues as well as their interaction with
   technological development

*Submission of Papers*
Authors are invited to submit both short papers (4-6 pages, showing work
in progress with limited test sets for example or just giving 
indications or
tendencies) and full papers (10-12 pages, with general and detailed 
research
contributions). The papers should be properly anonymized for double blinded
review. Thus, the authors and their affiliations should be removed and the
language adjusted to prevent easy identification of authors from previous

*Best Paper Awards*
There will be financial awards for the two most outstanding papers: one for
the best student paper and one for the best regular paper.

*Important Dates*
Submission deadline:          February 16, 2016
Notification of acceptance: April 8, 2016
Camera-ready papers:         April 29, 2016
