Dear Colleague,
The 3rd annual SANS What Works in Digital Forensics and Incident Response
Summit held in Washington DC was a success. The speakers and panelists
provided an array of informative and useful sessions. We certainly enjoyed
hosting the event and look forward to many more in the future. The
presentations from the 2010 Summits are posted here:

As the 2010 summit was such a resounding success we have already blocked the
dates for next year’s event. It will be held at the Omni hotel in downtown
Austin, Texas. It will take place on the 7th and 8th of June 2011, but don't
just put those dates in your calendar, register NOW,(
https://www.sans.org/forensics-incident-response-summit-2011 ) because if you
register before December 31st 2010 using the codeFOR2011 you will get an
additional 15% discount off the early bird price, and what’s more this code is
valid for 2 registrations so bring a colleague along!
Interested in helping out or presenting for next years Summit? While the SANS
Digital Forensic Summit is invite only event for speakers and panelists, I am
always looking for unique presentations that help further the community. If you
have an idea for the summit next year, please email me and we can chat. If you
have any suggestions of speakers/panelists we should invite, also please make
recommendations to us. We pride ourselves on ensuring every speaker and
panelist is a dynamic orator that can engage the audience.
Not only is Austin home to the Texas state capitol, it is also the epicenter of
the state's music, art, and avante garde scenes. Walk down the street and you
are bound to find a bumper sticker or two proclaiming "Keep Austin Weird".
Just 2 blocks from the Omni hotel, 6th street Entertainment District offers
multiple music venues with everything from country to bluegrass to rock and
roll, for true music lovers, a visit to Austin City Limits is a must.
Regards,
