The organizing committee of DFRWS would like to extend an invitation
to attend the 10th Annual DFRWS Conference, and help us celebrate
this milestone event. DFRWS 2010 will be held from August 2 to 4,
2010 in Portland, Oregon. Our program this year will include keynote
speakers Troy Larson from the Microsoft Corporation and Wenke Lee
from the Georgia Institute of Technology. We'll have a line-up of
excellent papers as well as two panel discussions. The program for
the conference has been posted at:
http://www.dfrws.org/2010/program.shtml
The registration fees for DFRWS are $575, which includes access to
all presentations, a copy of the printed proceedings, breakfasts,
a welcome reception on Monday August 2, 2010, a banquet on Tuesday
August 3, 2010, and entrance to the famous forensics rodeo challenge.
You can register at:

The conference will be held at the University Place Hotel and
Conference Center near Portland State University. A block of rooms
has been reserved for DFRWS attendees for $89.00 a night. To get
the special rate, you must call 1-866-845-4647 and mention DFRWS.

Submissions for the DFRWS Challenge are due by July 25, 2010. This
year's challenge involved analysis of a cell phone (images provided for
both the memory and storage) as they relate to the scenario provided.
Details are at:

During the conference, a poster and demo session will allow attendees
to show initial research results and demonstrate tools that have been
developed. You can sign up to do a demo by sending email to:

Lastly, sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsors of the
conference will gain visibility for their companies, demonstrate their
support of forensic research and development, and contribute to the
success of the conference. For details on sponsorship, visit:
