Two Postdoctoral positions in the Greater New Orleans Center for
Information Assurance (co-located with the Department of Computer
Science at the University of New Orleans) are available:
POSITION #1:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Greater New Orleans Center for Information Assurance (GNOCIA) at
the University of New Orleans is soliciting applications for a
Postdoctoral Researcher in information assurance/computer security,
specifically, in secure mobile computing. Responsibilities include
research to support a federally funded project, writing and submitting
papers and grant applications, and some lab administration duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this position will have recently received a
Ph.D. in computer science and will have expertise in computer
security, mobile computing, software development on mobile platforms,
such as Android, and digital forensics.
SALARY:
Salary is negotiable and is based on the qualifications of the applicant.

specifically, in applying live digital forensics techniques combined
with virtual machine introspection to detect and mitigate the presence
of malicious software. Responsibilities include research to support a
federally funded project, writing and submitting papers and grant
applications, and some lab administration duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this position will have recently received a
Ph.D. in computer science and will have expertise in computer
security, digital forensics, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with reverse engineering and analysis of malicious software
is a plus.
SALARY:
Salary is negotiable and is based on the qualifications of the applicant.
