Call for Participation
Northeast Forensics Exchange (NeFX) 2010
September 13-14
Georgetown University
Washington, D.C.
http://nefx.cs.georgetown.edu/
NeFX is designed to provide opportunities for exchange of information
between forensics researchers and forensic practitioners from
industry, law enforcement, and government. We have arranged an
exciting line up of speakers and panels to bring these communities
together. Amit Yoran, CEO of NetWitness and former Director of the US-
CERT and National Cyber Security Division of the Department of
Homeland Security, is our keynote speaker. A full list of speakers
and panelists who represent a wide variety of academic, commercial,
and government entities is available at:
http://nefx.cs.georgetown.edu/program.html
Early registration is open to August 27th, and a lower rate
registration rate is available for government employees. Registration
includes an informal dinner Monday night at Farmers and Fishers at the
Georgetown Waterfront.
If you are a forensics practitioner, researcher, or student who would
like to attend, but registration costs are an issue please mail nefx at cs.georgetown.edu
. We do have funding from our sponsors to help cover costs for some
attendees.
We hope to see you on campus in September!
