CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Grants to Attend Available
The ACM Northeast Digital Forensics Exchange (NeFX) is a workshop,
sponsored in part by the National Science Foundation, to foster
collaboration on digital forensics and information assurance between
federal and state law enforcement, academia and industry. The two-day
Exchange will be held at John Jay College. NeFX Monday offers unique
tutorials and NeFX Tuesday workshops on
- Internet Crimes Against Children
- Mobile Systems Forensics
- ID Theft and Privacy
Our goal is to bring together leading practitioners and academics in
order to yield partnerships that advance digital forensics through
mutual sharing of the problems of practice and research.

Who should attend:
- Prosecutors and investigators who would like to share their
experience and explore solutions to the technical problems with
researchers. (Grants to Attend available.)
- Academics and researchers who would like enhanced contact with
practitioners to inform research agendas.
- Industry practitioners and tool developers who wish to have stronger
links to researchers and law enforcement.
- Graduate students interested in digital forensics and criminal and
civil investigations.

Grants to attend are available to law enforcement. Funding provided by
grants from Stroz Friedberg, LLC and the National Science Foundation.
