IWDW 2009
8th International Workshop on Digital Watermarking
Guildford, England; 24-26 August 2009
Submissions deadline: 2 April

Call for Papers and further details at:  http://www.iwdw.org.uk/

The 8th International Workshop on Digital Watermarking (IWDW09) is a
premier forum for researchers and practitioners working on novel
research, development, and applications of digital watermarking,
steganography, steganalysis, and forensics techniques for multimedia
data. Recent developments apply techniques from advanced coding theory
and formal verification in order to improve our understanding of robust
watermarking systems and related security protocols.

Major advances in authentication and restoration have further improved
detection, localization accuracy and recovery of tampered regions. Data
forensics has recently generated new and exciting opportunities,
challenges and applications for researchers. IWDW09 aims to provide an
international forum for researchers and the dissemination of the latest
cutting-edge research results in these important areas. We invite
submissions of high-quality original research papers with two prizes to
be awarded for the best paper and best student paper.

The host for IWDW09 is the University of Surrey (Department of
Computing), in the beautiful Cathedral Town of Guildford. The town is
centrally located in the South-East of England. Both Heathrow and
Gatwick airports, as well as Central London and the ferry port of
Portsmouth, are all within an easy commute and less than one hour away
by public transport.
