challenging investigative analysis positions, which require solid

TITLE:	Infosec Eng/Scientist, Sr
LOCATION:	McLean, VA/Washington, DC
SYNOPSIS:	Purpose	As a member of MITRE's Advanced Threat Analysis
Team, you will work with a group of staff members focused on detecting
and analyzing advanced cyber threats, supporting advanced threat
incident response, and conducting technical risk and vulnerability
assessments.
KEY FUNCTIONS:	In this role, you will serve as a member of the
Advanced Threat Analysis team. Key technical responsibilities will
include providing expert technical analytical support, conducting
advanced intrusion detection, and aiding with advanced cyber threat
incident response.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:	BS or equivalent and 1 year experience
or MS or equivalent
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:	B.S. Computer Science or related field
plus at least five years experience performing cyber threat analysis,
incident response and advanced threat detection technology/solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS:	Demonstrable experience performing
vulnerability assessments, conducting incident response, and/or network
forensics at the enterprise level. Demonstrable experience briefing
senior management on analytic team findings and recommendations.
DESIRED SKILLS:	Experience with conducting technical incident response,
computer network defense, and malicious code and cyber threat analysis.
Relevant skill areas include intrusion detection and prevention,
enterprise audit, computer forensics, penetration analysis, and
security information management. Must have an interest in the
application of technology to problem solving. Experience leading a
team, performing technical reviews, coordinating with other analysts
and leveraging relationships to benefit the work program. Must be able
to interact effectively with a variety of sponsors. Excellent writing
and communication skills.
TRAVEL STATEMENT:	This position will require overnight travel up
to 10 % of the time.
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:	This position will require a TS
clearance, so only persons eligible for a US Government security
clearance will be considered.
